Tasks

1. Your group will will find out all you can about composting.

2. Your group's mission is to create a dramatic representation (play, poem, song) that explains to us what composting is all about!

It can be acted out
Or done as a reading, like a poem or story
Or sung to a tune you created or a known melody
Or any other creative way you can think of to make sure we understand!

3. Your group will turn in work: some of it the whole group worked on, some of it  as individual work from each team member.

To be turned in by group:

detailed storyboard outlining main points

summary of script/story

What We Learned : List 5 new things the group has learned


To be turned in by individual student:

Journal Reflection : What do I think about composting?

THINGS TO REMEMBER:

When playwrites and movie directors write scripts and movies, they often include several different points of view.  To do this, you might:

Write from the perspective of the bugs, worms or microorganisms

Or from the perspective of the things going into the compost pile

Or from the things affected by the compost pile

Or you might see it as a news reporter for a public service announcement

Or from the casual observers

Or any other creative way you can think of to show us what you know!
